Jamshedpur, Aug 27: Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur organized an awareness program on sexual harassment, in People’s Academy School, Baradwari on Tuesday.
The talk aimed at creating awareness among the students regarding various types of sexual harassments and how to make complaints. Chief speaker of the day was renowned psychologist Dr. Nidhi Srivastav. She informed about the importance of being aware and to approach any adult you trust in case of such situations.
President of the club Manju Singh welcomed Dr. Nidhi Srivastav. 130 students were present on the occasion. A few students spoke on the matter and were awarded. Number of students from Graduate College was also present and spoke on the topic.
Manju Singh thanked the school’s principal and the teachers for making this program a success.
Vinita Shah, Archana, Ranjeeta, Geeta, Babita and Tarulata and other club members were also present on the occasion.
