Jamshedpur, Aug 7: Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur East, observed Breastfeeding Week by holding an awareness session at PKS, Telco. Club President Dr. Meena Mukherjee discussed key aspects of breastfeeding, including its role in a child’s growth, exclusive feeding, benefits of colostrum, proper techniques, and storage tips for working mothers. Nurse Rinky Kumari enhanced the session with a live demonstration of correct practices. Dr. Mukherjee also gifted soft toys to children and distributed Women Horlicks packets to lactating mothers, sponsored personally by her. The club expressed gratitude to PKS Executives for their support in making the initiative impactful and successful.
