Narbheram Hansraj English School Jamshedpur installs new student council

Jamshedpur, Aug 7: Narbheram Hansraj English School (NHES) hosted its annual investiture ceremony on Thursday, formally inducting the newly elected Student Council for the academic year 2025–26. The event celebrated leadership, responsibility, and service, inspiring students to embrace their roles with dedication.

The program began with the school prayer, followed by a welcome address from Principal Paramita Roy Choudhury, who urged the young leaders to discharge their duties with integrity, humility, and commitment. The newly appointed President, President Aide, Vice President, House Captains, House Vice-Captains, Club Presidents, and Club Secretaries were honoured with badges of office.

A key highlight was the administration of the oath, where each council member pledged to uphold the school’s values and lead by example. “Leadership is not about position, but about action and responsibility,” the Principal reminded them.

She also extended her appreciation to Physics HOD Sujata Sinha and English HOD Moushumi Mallik for successfully organising the ceremony.

The event concluded with the National Anthem, instilling a sense of pride and motivation among the students. The 2025–26 Investiture Ceremony stood as a testament to NHES’s commitment to nurturing responsible, action-driven leaders who aspire to make a positive difference in society.
