Jamshedpur: Members of International Vaisya Federation (IVF) extended an assistance of Rs 25,000 to a Jugsalai resident, Krishna Kumar Gupta, in a bid to help him pay his college fees for three years. Krishna is currently pursuing a polytechnic course at Indo German Tool Room in Indore. Deputy Commissioner of East Singhbhum Amit Kumar handed a cheque of the said amount to Kishori Lal Gupta, father of the student, on behalf of IVF at Jamshedpur Collectorate here on Wednesday.
Leading the IVF members, the outfit president Mohan Lal Agrawal said the outfit would also bear the tuition fees payable by Krishna in the fourth and last year of his course.
Among those present on the occasion included Srikant Dev, Sunita Jaisawal, Jaya Sahu, Rajkumar Sah, Om Prakash Khandelwal, Loknath Sahu, Ramji Lal Agrawal, Akhilesh Prasad and Gautam Kumar.
