IT Team investigates MP Dheeraj Sahu’s residence; Geo Surveillance System in use

Ranchi: The Income Tax (IT) team has initiated an investigation into the premises of Rajya Sabha MP Dheeraj Sahu’s residence located on Radium Road. The team is actively using the Geo Surveillance System machine to conduct a thorough search for jewelry and other items potentially hidden in the soil. Notably, the IT raid on MP Dheeraj Sahu’s properties in Odisha concluded on Tuesday.

Following the conclusion of the raids in Odisha, the Income Tax officer and personnel from the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) have left the premises. The six-day IT raids targeted locations associated with Dheeraj Sahu. Up until Monday, the Income Tax Department team was engaged in searching the premises of Baldev Sahu Infra Private Limited Company in Soodpara, Balangir, Odisha.

As part of the ongoing investigation, any seized money has been deposited in the Balangir State Bank of India (SBI) branch, falling under the jurisdiction of the Income Tax Department. The utilization of the Geo Surveillance System reflects the meticulous approach employed by the IT team in examining potential hidden assets or evidence during their search at MP Dheeraj Sahu’s residence.
