Jamshedpur, December 7: The Income Tax Department has raided the premises of Jamshedpur businessman Vicky Bhalotia and about half a dozen people associated with him.

It is said that the Income Tax Department is raiding a total of seven locations of Vicky Bhalotia’s partner Sushil Khowawala, Sushant Kumar and others.
A team from Odisha arrived early in the morning to conduct the raid. A team of officers from Ranchi has also been deployed in this. The team of the vigilance department of the Income Tax Department is conducting this raid.
According to sources, Vicky Bhalotia and other businessmen have businesses in Odisha, Jharkhand and Bengal, in which disproportionate assets have been acquired. In view of this, raids were conducted on the basis of inputs already received. It is said that people are involved in money transfer in other countries also.
