Persistent rains disrupt normal life in Jamshedpur, city reports maximum temperature of 23.2 degree Celsius

Jamshedpur:  Intermittent rains persist, causing disruptions to daily life in Jamshedpur. Since Tuesday evening, light to moderate rainfall has contributed to a noticeable decrease in the day temperature across the state.

Temperature dropped below normal in the state due to continuous rainfall.

On Wednesday, Ranchi recorded a maximum temperature of 18.4 degrees Celsius, marking a significant deviation of 6.8 notches below the normal range. Similarly, Jamshedpur and Daltonganj reported maximum temperatures of 23.2 and 20.6 degrees Celsius, respectively, both below the seasonal average.

According to Abhishek Anand, the in-charge of the Ranchi Meteorological Centre, the decline in day temperature is expected to continue for the next 24 hours. Subsequently, a gradual increase is anticipated as the impact of the cyclone diminishes after Friday.

Anand stated that the intensity of the rains is projected to decrease from the evening onwards. Nevertheless, the inclement weather has led to power cuts in various areas of the state capital, Ranchi, and has caused traffic congestion on several roads.

As residents grapple with the impact of the continuous rainfall, authorities are closely monitoring the situation, and citizens are advised to stay updated on weather forecasts and take necessary precautions.
