Noamundi: The circle officer of Noamundi Ravi Kishore Ram inspected iron ore carrying vehicles on Saturday and took a serious note of the growing instances of violation of government norms.
The deputy commissioner had recently issued an order asking transporters to cover trucks carrying ore with tarpaulin from the loading point till destination point.
He said the violation of the order for covering vehicles was resulting in increased levels of air pollution in the area.
Also, flying dust threatens to cause road accidents by entering the eyes of motorists, he said.
