Jamshedpur: ADLS Sunshine School celebrated International Mother�s Day on Saturday in the school hall.
The mothers were invited and the program started with lighting of the lamp followed by group song. The students were also awarded in different categories like card making, painting, drawing and essay competition.
A movie was also screened on the occasion. Different competitions were organized for the mothers. The euphoria of celebration could be felt in the safety quiz, mehandi competition, fashion show and rangoli competition.
The moms were honoured for taking care of the kids, nurturing them and providing them the loving environment where they have an opportunity to grow in a positive manner.
The program concluded with distribution of prizes by the middle section coordinator, A Rama, who commended moms for being the �first teacher in their children�s life�. The principal Indrani Singh also graced the occasion.
