Jamshedpur, July 11: Institute of Public Health director Dr Sanjay Kumar Thursday held a meeting to review cases of leprosy and tuberculosis at Community Health Centre, Potka, on Thursday. District malaria officer Dr AK Lal, Potka CHC in-charge Dr Mrityunjay Dhavariya and Potka Mukhiya Pani Sardar were also present at the meeting.
Addressing the meeting, Dr Kumar said the government was committed to complete eradication of leprosy and TB. A special drive was launched on 1st July last to identify leprosy and TB patients by visiting every household. It will continue till 14th July, he said.
Kumar said efforts should be made to ensure that no patient is left out in the drive. Both diseases can be cured through medication.
