Chaibasa, Oct. 10: West Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Arava Rajkamal and SP Anish Gupta on Tuesday held a meeting with focus on the law and order issue in West Singhbhum district during the upcoming Diwali festival. DC directed the officer to remain alert during Deewali to evade any untoward incidents.
DC also asked the officers to intensify patrolling in the sensitive areas and asked the deputed magistrate to reach the spot timely and keep strict vigilant over antisocial elements during the festivals.
He further said to remain vigilant over gamblers and liquor sellers. DC also gave a guide line for the sale of firecrackers during Diwali. All the police officers and district level officers were present in the meeting .
