Inner Wheel Club organises tree plantation drive

Jamshedpur : The Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur organised a Tree Plantation Program at Salvation, Vishwakarma Maidan, Near Birsanagar PS, Zone No. 4, Birsanagar. Children of salvation and people of the area were made aware about the importance of preserving the nature through this endeavour.

PV Hanumantha Rao, AGM, Tata Motors was the Chief Guest for the occasion. He donated plants for the event. He praised the effort made by members of Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur East. He told that the nature and its beauty can be preserved by such small steps.

The event was co-ordinated by . Barnali Mukherjee and Mr. John, Secretary, Salvation. Other members present were Past President � . Ira Bandyopadhyay,IPP � Rekha Jha, Treasurer � Namrata Jha, ISO � . Leena Singhal, Editor- Manisha Gupta, Reema, Shompa Ghosh.

The club District 325 is an institution which is dedicated towards social work. A new Executive Committee takes charge of the Club on 1st July every year. Dr. Anjushree Pandit is the President of Club this year.

Members of the Club are doing lot of awareness programs under her leadership, like, Education for Children, Care for Women and Children�s Health, Women empowerment, Cleanliness of the surroundings, Awareness on domestic violence, Women safety etc.
