Jamshedpur, Oct 10: The Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur West hosted the District Chairman Visit on Wednesday in the gracious presence of District Chairman Rashmi Gupta. District Secretary Nibha Mishra also attended the event, adding encouragement and value to the occasion. The meeting was led by Club President Sanober Hasan.
To mark the visit, several community welfare projects were inaugurated. At Agui Dangra village in Patamda Block, the club installed a wash station and a solar power system to promote hygiene and sustainable energy. A changing room was also constructed for village women. Additionally, a sanitary pad vending machine was donated to Patamda Degree College to promote menstrual hygiene among young women.
An Executive Committee (EC) meeting was held in the presence of all members, where reports and accounts were presented, followed by a General Body Meeting (GBM). Two new members were also inducted into the club.
The club donated a sewing machine to Sakchi Girls High School and honoured ten girl students with certificates of appreciation. District Chairman Rashmi Gupta appreciated the club’s meaningful projects and praised its continued commitment to women’s welfare, empowerment, and community service.
