Jamshedpur: The Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur East has taken a commendable step towards traffic safety by installing a road safety convex mirror at Sakchi Roundabout, opposite Reliance Trends—a high-traffic zone in the city. The mirror, installed with the Inner Wheel logo and club name displayed prominently, aims to enhance visibility for drivers and reduce the risk of accidents.
Strategically positioned, the convex mirror offers a wider view of the road, helping drivers spot oncoming vehicles and pedestrians more easily, thereby improving overall safety at the busy intersection.
The project was inaugurated by District Chairman Alokananda Bakshi. Traffic officials were also present and appreciated the club’s contribution to road safety.
Club President Madhumita Sanyal led the coordination of this unique project. She thanked all members for their active participation, noting that such initiatives are only possible through collective effort. Members present at the event included Ira Bandhopadhyay, Neelima Prakash, Dr. Meena Mukherjee, Dr. Neelam, Binita Jha, Anjubala, Manjari, and others.
