Inner Wheel Club Jamshedpur felicitates Dr N K Das and Dr FB Singh

Jamshedpur, July 1: Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur organized health awareness camp at Red Cross Bhawan in Sakchi on the occasion of National Doctors’ Day on Friday.

On the occasion club members felicitated doctors. Chief Guest for the function was Dr Jujhar Manjhi, Civil Surgeon, East Singhbhum.

Two eminent doctors of the city, Dr N K Das and Dr FB Singh were felicitated by the Inner Wheel Club.  Responding to the felicitation accorded, Dr N K Das was all praise for the Club saying that the Inner Wheel Club members work wholeheartedly for the service of mankind and hoped that many such organizations will come forward to help the needy.  Dr FB Singh, in his thanks speech also lauded the organization saying that Inner Wheel Club has always extended help and worked for upliftment of the weaker sections especially in the rural areas of the district.

Dr Jujhar Manjhi, the Chief Guest, while thanking the Inner Wheel Club also requested the Club members to concentrate their efforts in the rural areas and assured all help to the organization in meeting its objectives.  He hoped that institutions such as this will also carry out social work in areas where it is needed most.

Dr Ram Kumar, Dr Stuti Kedia and Dr Anil Sugandhi spoke on health issues and the precautions to be taken which was widely appreciated. 

After the doctor’s talk, a health camp was organized in which tests were conducted for Bone Mineral Density, Diabetes, Hemoglobin, Pulmonary, Thyroid and Uric Acid.  More than 200 people attended the camp.

On the occasion, Amrita Rao, President of the club, Dr Rita Jha, District Chairman, Vinita Shah, immediate Past President, Sarika Singh, Secretary, Priya Nagarajan, Hony Treasurer, Ranjita Sinha, Editor, Alokananda Bakshi, District Secretary, Kiran Mehta, Nalini Rammurthy, Anita Rai, Mitali Chopra, Jayashree Goel, Pasam Adeshra, Navita Prasad, Past Presidents, Smita Parikh, Alpa Parikh, Raksha Makati, Agnes Boyle, Neena Jain and others were present.
