Jamshedpur, April 26: In a proactive move towards digital literacy and safety, members of the Inner Wheel Club (IWC) of Jamshedpur East collaborated with underprivileged individuals and domestic helpers to organize an awareness program on “Digital Development.”
Held at the residence of Past President Vinita Jha, the event saw President Sampa Upadhyay and Vinita Jha addressing attendees on the responsible use of social media and safe digital transactions.
Highlighting the increasing indispensability of smartphones in our daily lives, the speakers emphasized the importance of exercising caution and vigilance in navigating online platforms. Practical tips on handling the misuse of social media and ensuring secure banking transactions were shared to empower participants with essential digital skills.
Also present were Past President Namrata Jha and Vice President Madhumita Sanyal, who actively engaged in the program, underscoring the collective commitment towards fostering a digitally empowered and safer community.
