Increasing craters on stretch of NH-33 add to traffic jam

Jamshedpur : Craters on the six kilometers stretch of NH-33 near Bahragora adding woes for the commuters.

The road witnesses nearly 2.5 lakh vehicles on the highway daily however due to the potholes people are facing serious problems. Such is the condition that commercial and private vehicles developing technical snag on this stretch has become a routine affair after spells of rains.

This also lead to regular road jam. Commercial and private vehicles drivers ride cautiously on the crater ridden stretch almost at snail�s pace.

However, in order to make up for the time loss they drive at breakneck speed after the end of this stretch leading to mishaps. We can only hope that authorities carry out some long term repair of this stretchThe commuters complained that often they confront with such situation.

Long queue of vehicles including trucks, trailers, auto-rickshaws, cars and two-wheelers could be seen. This stretch is used by heavy vehicles and long distance buses coming from different parts of Jharkhand for going to Bengal, Odisha through Ghatshila and Baharagora.
