Jamshedpur, Dec 17: The Kolkata High Court will take up next hearing on the debtors issue of Golmuri-based Incab Limited on January 7, 2021.
The Kolkata High Court had admitted the argument of Supreme Court advocate Akhilesh Shrivastava on behalf of workers of Incab while taking cognizance of the National Company of Law Tribunal order of February, 7, 2020 order on Incab area demarcation and taken cognizance that transfer of debts/NPAs is permissible inter se between banks as per law declared based on judgement of Supreme Court in ICICI Bank Limited versus officials liquidator of APS Industries Limited.
The High Court had also noted that government banks can hand over its NPJ to only government banks or NBFC companies. The High Court had a virtual hearing on December 10 in the same case and as one of the respondents advocate (Kamala Mills advocate) could not attend it, the court deferred the hearing to January 7, 2021.
