Jamshedpur, Dec 17: Purvi Singhbhum Zila Marwari Sammelan (PSZMS) election of the district body will be held at the Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industries (SCCI) Bhawan on Tuesday, December 22 between 10:30 am and 4 pm. The election results will be announced the same day. Ashok Modi, Sawarmal Agarwal and Shiv Prasad Sharma will be fighting for the post of PSZMS president.
The final list of the contestants was published on Thursday, December 17 with Ashok Modi, Sawarmal Agarwal and Shiv Prakash Sharma’s nomination paper were found valid and will be taking the field.
PSZMS ID cards or any other government ID card with photograph must be produced mandatorily at the time of casting ballots.
All life members, patron members and special patrons would be eligible to cast votes. Murlidhar Kedia is chief electoral officer and Santosh Agrawal is his deputy.
