Illicit relationship leads to paramour being beaten up in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Aug 20: A married woman was found in a compromising position with her paramour and when her husband saw it he along with his brother, nephew and few others thrashed the lover with rods, stones and brick pieces. The police after getting him treated at the Sadar Hospital shifted him to MGM Hospital from where he was referred to RIMS in Ranchi.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, August 19 at about 1:30 pm in Birbans village under Saraikela police station. A married woman was caught in a compromising situation with her lover Gunadhar Tiwary of Vijay village. The woman�s husband Dinesh Mahto who entered the house at that point called his brother Kalipado Mahto and nephew Pappu Mahto beat up Gunadhar Tiwary severely injuring him. An FIR has been lodged against the three attackers.

Saraikela police station OC Navin Prakash Pandey giving details stated that the incident occurred around 1:30 pm on Wednesday, August 19. He said that there was a report of a love affair between Gunadhar Tiwary and a Birbans woman. Gunadhar had gone to meet the woman in the afternoon. The woman�s husband Dinesh Mahto too arrived home at that moment and found them in a compromising position. Dinesh immediately called his brother Kalipado Mahto and nephew Pappu Mahto and together hammered Gunadhar Tiwary with rods, bricks and stones. His primary treatment was carried out in the Sadar Hospital from where he was shifted to MGM Hospital in Jamshedpur. Later he was shifted to RIMS in Ranchi.
