Seraikela, Dec 17: A team of Seraikela-Kharsawan district administration demolished a toilet built on a drain near TOP Chowk in Kapali on Saturday. A team led by an executive magistrate reached the spot on the orders of SDO, Chandil, this morning, and removed the encroachment. Police forces were also deployed at the site.
Officials said the toilet was illegally built over the drain and hence it was razed down. However, local residents said the toilet was used by the shop keepers and vegetable vendors of the area. They said there was no trace of the drain near the toilet as claimed by the administration.
