Jamshedpur, September 14: The Excise Department has busted a mini liquor factory manufacturing English liquor illegally.
During this period, liquor worth about Rs 5 lakh has been recovered. Along with this, fake liquor bottles, fake stickers, cork lids, holograms have been recovered. This action was taken on the instructions of the Excise Commissioner. Based on secret information, the Excise Department on Thursday raided Konda Bhatta of Babudih area under Sidgora police station.
Excise Department Inspector Praveen Kumar Rana said that secret information was received that an illegal mini liquor factory was being operated in Babudih Konda Bhatta. After this, the team was formed on the instructions of senior officials. The team has exposed the said liquor factory while raiding. This factory was being operated in a house located in Konda Bhatta. However, the operator of the factory managed to escape.
