Jamshedpur, Oct 18: A team of Excise department officials raided and destroyed several illegal distilleries in Pundida forest area of Kharsawan on Tuesday. They also destroyed 3000 kg Jawa Mahua and seized 80 litres of hooch. The campaign was led by Excise Inspector Nirbhay Kumar Sinha. Four persons accused of running the illegal distilleries escaped from the scene. An FIR was lodged against them.
