Jamshedpur, September 28: The Indian Institute of Materials Management (IIMM) Jamshedpur Chapter hosted its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the RMCS Jamshedpur premises, drawing over 100 members, including distinguished National Council members and the Executive Committee of IIMM Jamshedpur.
The Chief Guest for the occasion was Professor Rajiv Mishra from XLRI, and the Guest of Honor was Rana Das, Vice President (East) of the IIMM National Council.
The meeting saw participation from several National Council members and dignitaries, with Sidharth Dash, Chairman of IIMM Jamshedpur, also in attendance.
Dr. Neelesh Kumar Mishra, Hon. Secretary of IIMM Jamshedpur, delivered a comprehensive report on the chapter’s activities throughout the year. He highlighted key achievements, such as the celebration of Materials Management Day on April 23, the successful completion of term-end examinations for the PGDMM and PGDL&SCM programs in June and December, and the commemoration of national events like Independence Day and Republic Day.
Dr. Mishra also emphasized the chapter’s active engagement in National Council Meetings and the success of the day-long event on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), organized in collaboration with the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce.
With a strong membership of 471, the IIMM Jamshedpur Chapter continues to excel in education and professional development in materials management and supply chain logistics.
The meeting concluded with Cl Sanjeev Raman proposing the vote of thanks, marking the end of a successful AGM for the chapter.
