IHRA reaches Nepal to distribute relief materials among earthquake affected

Jamshedpur, May 26: Team of International Human Rights Association (IHRA) from Jamshedpur on Tuesday evening reached Nepal to distribute relief materials among those affected by the earthquake.

On Wednesday, May 27 the team will dole out the relief materials in the areas most affected were National Vice-President of IHRA Kamal Akhtar and National General Secretary Usha Singh along with eleven members of the association including Prabha Tiwary, Sushmita and Nijam reached the Hindu nation.

This information was provided by Akhtar who further said that whatever material has been taken to Nepal is new nothing old has been brought to distribute. The IHRA team left Jamshedpur for Nepal on morning of May 24. Kamal further informed that the workers of the association started collecting relief material from May 14.

On Tuesday, Usha Singh said that the relief material includes dry food, drinking water, medicine, cotton, tarpaulin, plastic, clothes etc.

Protestors in large number turned up against the state government demanding jobs for all Tet pass candidates and urged the education minister to complete the promises made in Ranchi on Tuesday.
