Jamshedpur, Oct 29: The Department of Electrical Engineering at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jamshedpur inaugurated the IEEE First International Conference on Electrical, Electronics, and Computer Science with Advanced Power Technologies A Future Trend (ICE2CPT 2025) on Wednesday at the institute’s auditorium.
The three-day hybrid conference aimed to advance global innovation, research, and collaboration in the rapidly evolving fields of electrical, electronics and computer science, particularly in smart power and sustainable technology.
Prof. Sukumar Mishra, Director of IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, while Prof. Gautam Sutradhar, Director of NIT Jamshedpur, attended as the Chief Patron.
The conference also saw the participation of several distinguished dignitaries, including Mr. Arun Mishra, CEO of Adhunik Power; Prof. Sanjeevikumar Padmanaban from the University of South-Eastern Norway; Dr. Puneet Kumar Mishra, 2025 Vice President (Education), IEEE AESS; and Prof. N. P. Padhy, Director of MNIT Jaipur.
Dr. Satya Gupta, Chairman of the VLSI Society of India, served as Honorary Chair, while Prof. R. V. Sharma, Deputy Director of NIT Jamshedpur, attended as Patron.
The conference was being spearheaded by Dr. Veerpratap Meena, General Chair and Chair of the IEEE Systems Council Systems Education TC, USA. Under his visionary leadership, ICE2CPT 2025 had emerged as a significant step toward strengthening global cooperation in science and technology.
Conference Chairs Prof. Prabha Chand and Dr. Kumari Namrata of NIT Jamshedpur contributed immensely through their academic excellence and leadership. The Organizing Secretaries Dr. Suryaprakash, Dr. Swagatdeb Sahu, Dr. Jitendra Kumar and Dr. Dinesh Kumar played key roles in ensuring the smooth conduct of the event through meticulous coordination and management.
The conference served as a prestigious platform for industry-academia dialogue, fostering the exchange of ideas and research in cutting-edge areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), Smart Grids, and Sustainable Energy Systems.
