Hubby kills wife with axe over minor tiff in Chaibasa

Chaibasa, Feb 10: Minor tiff led a husband to kill his wife with an axe at Kotsona Binggutu Sai village under Chaibasa Muffassil thana area in Chaibasa under West Singhbhum district on Wednesday. 
Jannumsingh Honhoga (45) had a quarrel with his 40 year old wife Dugi Honhoga over issue of burning of woods and in a fit of rage, the husband attacked wife with an axe leading to her death. The village dakua Soma Honhoga on being informed reached the spot and caught hold of the accused and handed him over to the police where the accused confessed of his crime. 
Police have also recovered the weapon used in the crime and sent the body of the wife for post mortem and then submitted the body for last rites to relatives. 
The couple had five children including a nine-month old boy.
