Seraikela, Feb 10: A doctor at the Adhunik Plant, 55 year old Nirod Varan Manna died in a road mishap near Dugni-Babudih along Seraikela-Kandra Main Road on Wednesday.Â
According to reports, Nirod Varan Manna a resident of Kandra was going to district collectorate in Seraikela on his bike and near Babudih More in an effort to save a stray dog lost control of the bike and fell into a ditch and was rushed in an injured condition to the Seraikela Sadar Hospital where he died during course of treatment.
The doctor’s son Sapan Kumar Manna said that his father did not used to take any intoxication materials and had taken a scooty only four months back and was not fully acquainted with driving it and was advised to travel by bus instead of scooty. However, out of persuasion he had taken the scooty to go to Seraikela and died in the road mishap.
He was a doctor and a musician too.
