Jamshedpur, Feb 10: Officials of Bharatiya Janata Morcha (BJM), an outfit floated by Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy, today clarified their stand over the issue of missing plaque of the MLA from Longtown Bsti under Burmamines thana area.Â
The BJM state vice-president Ram Narayan and district president Subodh Srivastava informed that the basti situated close to the boundary wall of the Tata Steel company in Burmamines was settled on the directive of the Supreme Court and around 250 persons were settled at Ruiya Pahad area and in the list nowhere was the name of Rambabu Tiwari and Pappu Singh and currently there are 500 persons whose holdings exist in the Ruiya Pahad area.Â
However, Rambabu Tiwari, considered close to former chief minister Raghubar Das sold plots in the area and constructed a palatial building while other houses in the same locality are small holdings. They demanded that district administration should probe into the source of income of Rambabu Tiwari.Â
They also alleged that during election Rambabu Tiwari had created ruckus and their influence is such people hesitate to speak openly against them and they changed the name of the locality to Raghubar Nagar without any government gazette of renaming of the locality.Â
The leaders claimed that missing plaque of the local MLA proves that these persons are criminal minded whose sole motive is to create gangs and create fear among masses.Â
The leaders threatened that if the administration fails to take up action against perpetrator responsible in the missing plaque of the local MLA within 48 hours then BJM would be forced to take up agitation. They also claimed that FIR has been lodged against Rambabu Tiwari and others in the same case in the local thana and if they are not arrested within 48 hours then we will be forced to take up agitation.Â
They claimed that Raghubar Das name has been cropped in several cases of corruption and he should apologise for wrongdoing of his supporters including Rambabu Tiwari.Â
