Housewife attempts suicide in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Feb 26: A housewife named Chhanda tried to commit suicide by taking medicines in excess amount after a tiff with her husband at Munshi Mohalla under Mango thana on Friday. 
She was admitted to MGM Hospital where her condition is out of danger. 
In her confession to the police, Chhanda said that she was married nine years back to Mohammed Habibul but she is being constantly threatened by her husband of desertion and marrying again. 
Frustrated with regular dispute she decided to end her life by taking the medicines.
