Jamshedpur, March 28: Housemaid Kalavati Devi (38), a resident of Ghorabandha Computa Colony under Govindpur police station, was electrocuted while drying clothes on the rooftop. According to information, Kalavati Devi had washed clothes of the family she worked for and then took them to the terrace to dry. In the process, she came in contact with a naked 11 thousand volt wire that passed over the roof of the house. Locals who gathered at the spot after the news of the mishap accused the electricity department officials of leaving high voltage wire without safety covering. The police reached the spot and taking charge of the body sent it for autopsy to MGM College.
