Guwahati / Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Tuesday visited the revered Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati, Assam, where he performed puja and sought divine blessings for the people of the state.
Offering prayers with full ritualistic devotion, the Chief Minister wished for peace, prosperity, progress, and a bright future for every citizen of Jharkhand. The puja was conducted in accordance with traditional Vedic practices, led by temple priests amid sacred chants.
Bowing before the deity, he prayed for the holistic development and welfare of the state.
Expressing his sentiments, Soren said it was a privilege to once again visit the holy shrine and seek the blessings of Maa Kamakhya.
He added that with the goddess’s grace, Jharkhand would continue to move steadily on the path of growth and prosperity.
