Hotel Guest Verification System to be launched in Jamshedpur on Nov 4

Jamshedpur: In a groundbreaking development, the Jamshedpur Hotel and Restaurant Association (JHRA) has successfully championed an initiative to revolutionize the hotel guest police verification system. Recognizing the need for technological advancements, JHRA collaborated with the Jamshedpur SSP to address challenges faced by both hotels and law enforcement in monitoring criminal and illegal activities.

The fruitful collaboration led to the initiation of a unique project by the State National Informatics Center (NIC) Jharkhand, resulting in the development of a cutting-edge software solution. This software is poised to simplify and enhance the hotel guest police verification process, providing a more efficient and streamlined experience for all stakeholders.

In just a few months, the Police are gearing up to launch a one-of-a-kind Police Verification System in Jamshedpur. The launch event, scheduled for November 4 at Hotel Sonnet, will witness the participation of distinguished guests, including DIG Kolhan Ajay Linda, SSP Kishore Kaushal IPS, and Dr. Piyush Gupta, SIO Director NIC Jharkhand.

Kishore Prasad, DIO, East Singhbhum, informed that NIC has developed a sophisticated software that will significantly improve the hotel guest police verification process. The launch marks a historic moment for Jharkhand, introducing the first-of-its-kind software dedicated to hotel guest police verification.

Ravish Ranjan, President of JHRA, expressed his excitement about this innovative software, emphasizing its potential to streamline routine procedures for hotels, ensuring a hassle-free experience. The software allows seamless communication between hotels, local police stations, and district police departments, providing a comprehensive platform for the exchange of information.

For the first time in Jharkhand, NIC has developed software to ease the workload of the police, contributing to a more effective and technologically advanced law enforcement system. The software’s design ensures accessibility for hotels and law enforcement agencies, empowering them to upload and access guest information with ease.

As the Hotel Guest Verification System is set to launch at Hotel Sonnet, it marks a significant milestone in the collaboration between JHRA, SSP Jamshedpur, and NIC Jharkhand. This initiative underscores the commitment to leveraging technology for the betterment of public safety and security in the region.
