Jamshedpur, Sep. 3: Ethos 2017 an inter-school fest was hosted by Kerala Samajam Model School (KSMS). 15 city schools participated in the program. The focus was on reinforcing the ethical and moral values among the school youths.
Events including Moral Maze, Beauty & Grace, Mime and the Ethics quiz entertained and educated all present. The creative portrayal of moral or ethical values through music, dance poems was astounding.
The participants were judged on content, argument and the appropriateness of language and poise. The Ethics Quiz conducted by Zia Ahmad, Tata Steel was uniquely designed to test the high ethical standards and awareness of the students.
Host Kerala Samajam Model School was crowned the overall champion while Sacred Heart Convent School ended as the runner-up.
The fest kicked off with the event Mime where Sacred Heart Convent was crowned the winner while Gulmohar High School was the runner-up.
The second event of the day was Quiz-o-ethics-DAV Bistupur won the first place while Loyola School was second. In Moral maze- Kerala Samajam Model School was first followed by Loyola School.
In Couplet Writing-DAV Bistupur bagged the first place while hosts Kerala Samajam Model School was second.
In Acrostic Poem Writing- Kerala Samajam Model School was first followed by DBMS and Loyola School. Kerala Public School Kadma was first in Pencil Sketching, Narbheram Hansraj English School was second while Beldih Church School won the third place.
In Triple Threat- Sacred Heart Convent School was first followed by Gulmohar High School. The Beauty & Grace (dance event) saw prolific performances where Sacred Heart Convent School bagged the first place while DAV Bistupur was second.
