Jamshedpur: The president of Tribal Indian Chamber of Commerce Khelaram Murmu here on Sunday said a new revolution was going to be witnessed in Jharkhand with the tribal people joining trade and commerce like never before.
He said Adivasi industrialists and vendors would be given tenders by over a dozen companies of Jharkhand in the coming days.
He said many such companies including Central Coalfields Limited (CCL), Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), MECON, Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) and National Thermal Power Corporation had assured to hold a meeting with the Adivasi vendors within a fortnight and give them tenders.
Murmu said tribal youths were joining trade and commerce in large numbers.
He said Tribal Indian Chamber of Commerce had opened its branch in Ranchi. Very soon, more branches would be opened in Bokaro, Patna and Odisha. He said new traders and entrepreneurs are being helped in every possible manner by the organization.
