Jamshedpur, May 9: Four league matches and two semi final matches were played on day 2 of Naval Tata Hockey Jharkhand Sub-Junior & Junior State Hockey Championship 2023 (Men) held at Naval Tata Hockey Academy ground on Tuesday. In first semi final match Hockey Ranchi defeated NTHA by 4-2 in shootout after the match ended 1-1. Pardesh Munda bagged the Man of the Match award.
In the second semi final Gumla with the help of two goals from Ayan Kerketta and one each from Patras Hassa and Tintus Hemrom defeated Hockey Simdega 4-2 to enter the final of the tournament. Sumit Kindo of Hockey Simdega won the Man of the Match award.
3rd Place match will be played between NTHA and Hockey Simdega at 6.00am and finals between Hockey Gumla and Hockey Ranchi at 7.15 am May 10.
