Hindu New Year revelers to be booked for flouting guidelines: Jamshedpur SSP

Jamshedpur: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), East Singhbhum, Dr M Tamil Vanan, Saturday said stringent action would be taken against those found guilty of violating state government’s guidelines during Hindu Nav Varsh Yatra celebrations yesterday. He said named FIRs would be lodged against the violators who are being identified on the basis of video footage of the procession. The SSP said the government guidelines were flouted by the participants. All police stations have been asked to book the offenders.
