Hindu New Year procession on April 5 in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, March 16: At a meeting of the Hindu Utsav Samiti organized at the Burmamines Shiv Mandir, it was decided that a huge and colourful procession would be taken out from the Dimna MGM Maidan at 3 pm and proceed up to Netaji Subhas Maidan (formerly known as Ambagan Maidan). The Samiti appealed to all Hindus to participate in the procession.

The meeting was presided by Dhawal Rachh. Convener Manoj Bajpayee was also present at the meeting. Asish Tiwary stated that it had been unanimously decided the youth of Burmamines would decorate the entire city and thousands of Hindus would participate in the New Year Procession on April 5.

All new officials of the Hindu Utsav Samiti that included vice president Mahesh Singh, Pradip Mukherjee, Rakesh Sahu, assistant secretary Niraj Mishra, Shivam Veer, Harsh Agrawal, Pravin Maurya, Sonu Singh, Amit Singh, Suraj Tiwary, Milesh Ojha, Aman Singh, Sahul Raj and Shubham Singh were felicitated during the meeting.
