Hindi Elocution Competition at JUSCO School Kadma

Jamshedpur, Aug 17: The Kudy Mahanty Auditorium at JUSCO School, Kadma, came alive on Thursday, as the school hosted 18th Annual Hindi Elocution event. With the theme “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav,” the event saw an enthusiastic participation from students spanning LKG to Std VIII, showcasing their impressive oratory talents.

Divided into two distinct categories – Individual and Choral – the competition showcased the students’ exceptional speaking abilities and creative prowess. The esteemed panel of judges comprised journalist Dr Rajesh Kumar Lal Das and Shipra Mohanty from DBMS Kadma High School. The judges lauded the students for their articulate speeches, confidence, and remarkable memory power, serving as a source of encouragement for their future endeavors.

Parents of the participants filled the auditorium with pride as they witnessed their children excel on stage. Elocution, an event designed to enhance public speaking skills, was further enriched by the Hindi teachers’ creative contributions in crafting poems that showcased the students’ brilliance during their performances.

The Individual Recitation category winners were as follows:

  • LKG – UKG: Ridhan Kumar from class UKG B emerged as the winner, closely followed by the runner-up, Shashank from Class LKG B.
  • I & II: Jagriti Nayan of Std II C secured the winner’s title, while Swaraj Dutta of Std IC was recognized as the runner-up.
  • III & IV: Ronit Kumar Sandil of Std IV B clinched the winner’s spot, with Ritika Das of Std.3 B earning the runner-up position.
  • V & VI: Anushka Kumari of Std VI C stood victorious, while Shambhavi of Std. VI A secured the runner-up position.
  • VII & VIII: Adiba Rehman of Std. VIII B claimed the winner’s accolade, and Shreyashi Jaiswal of Std. VIII A was acknowledged as the runner-up.

In the Choral Recitation category:

  • LKG & UKG: Class LKG C was declared the winner, while class UKG C secured the runner-up position.
  • I & II: Class 1 A emerged as the winner, with class II B taking the runner-up spot.
  • III & IV: Class IV A claimed the winner’s title, while class III A achieved the runner-up position.
  • V & VI: Class VI A showcased their excellence as winners, with class VI B as the runner-up.
  • VII & VIII: Class VII A celebrated victory, while class VIII A earned the runner-up position.
  • Principal Jhumjhumi Nandi commended both students and teachers for their exceptional contributions in making the event a grand success. Shaziya Qadir, Hindi HOD (Senior Wing), and Rashmi Sharma, Hindi HOD (Junior Wing), alongside the Hindi Department’s dedicated educators, namely Rusi, Rashmi K., Bhawana, Arjeshwari, Sonali, Sweta, Sandhya, Priyanka, Nisha, and Abha, played an instrumental role in organizing and coordinating the event under the guidance of Principal Jhumjhumi Nandi and Vice Principal Anindita Roy.
