Hemant Soren directs all needy to be covered under rural housing scheme by Oct 15

Ranchi, September 30: During the review of the Rural Development Department, Chief Minister Hemant Soren ordered to cover the needy with the housing scheme. The Chief Minister said that by October 15, all the needy should be given the benefit of the scheme. Implement MGNREGA schemes better. Poto ho let there be no delay in completing the playing field. There is a need to work in this direction.

While reviewing the Birsa Harit Gram Yojana, the Chief Minister said that tree plantation should be done in such a place where irrigation facilities are available. For irrigation of plants, the needy class like elderly, widow, or any other helpless person should be engaged in irrigation work and pay wages through MNREGA. Also, provide age-related information in MGNREGA job card.

The Chief Minister, while reviewing the status of Phoolo Jhanno Ashirwad Abhiyan, said that this is an important scheme and directed to connect women with a respectable livelihood by removing them from the work of manufacturing and selling liquor. All the Deputy Commissioners should ensure that women associated with this work can get other options of business in the coming time and ensure that such women do not go back to their old business. 

The Chief Minister said that Palash brand products should be used in government buildings like circuit houses, government schools, prisons, government offices, etc. There should also be a task of connecting the women coming in the Phool Jhano Ashirwad campaign with the Palash brand. Economic self-reliance of women can be ensured through Palash brand and the talk of women empowerment will be meaningful. 

Awareness campaign on govt schemes for unorganised workers: CM

Ranchi, September 30: Chief minister Hemant Soren while reviewing the labour department said that wide publicity should be ensured for the registration of workers in the unorganized sector at panchayat, block and urban cities.  More and more workers can be registered so that they can get the benefit of government schemes.

On this occasion, the secretary of the department, Praveen Toppo informed that the workers of the unorganized sector can register themselves in two ways. Under this, workers can register themselves through Pragya Kendra or on the labour portal. He said that so far 2 lakh 61 thousand workers have been registered on the e-shram portal and necessary instructions have already been given to all the Deputy Commissioners to achieve the target.

E-courts should be monitored properly: CM

Ranchi, September 30: Chief Minister Hemant Soren reviewed the Department of Revenue, Registration and Land Reforms. Under this, the pending cases of dismissals, land demarcation cases, cases pending in the court of revenue officials, status of compensation for land acquisition and matters related to transfer of land to various departments were reviewed.

On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary of the department,  L Khiyangte said that the cases are not being heard regularly in the courts of revenue officers and neither are the pending cases being executed. This is a matter of great concern. The Chief Minister said that regular meetings of e-courts of Deputy Commissioner, Additional Collector, Sub-Divisional Officer and other revenue officials should be held. Also prepare a list of pending cases in the court and execute them on priority basis.

There are about 12 hundred crore rupees of compensation lying in the banks.

The Chief Minister said that the cases of filing work without no-objection should be executed by driving. On this occasion, the Additional Secretary of the department apprised the Chief Minister about the steps taken to create a land bank for the industries. There are about 12 hundred crore rupees of compensation lying in the banks. Due to non-acquisition of land, many big projects are facing hurdles in commissioning. The Deputy Commissioners of all the districts should take swift steps to distribute the compensation among the beneficiaries in the matters related to land acquisition.

Illegal mining should be stopped at any cost: CM

Ranchi, September 30: Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that illegal mining should be stopped at any cost so that there is no loss of revenue to the government. Chief Minister gave these instructions during the review of the Mining and Geology Department. On this occasion, Departmental Secretary, Pooja Singhal apprised the Chief Minister that a district-level task force has been constituted under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner to check illegal mining.

The Departmental Secretary said that an amount of Rs 7693 crore has been received under DMFT fund in the last 6 years. Out of this, Rs 3120 crore has been spent in various schemes. He also informed that in view of Kovid-19, permission has been given to spend the amount for medical infrastructure under DMFT fund. This also includes setting up an oxygen plant.
