HEC employees lathicharged for asking payment of salary

Ranchi: HEC employees have been continuously agitating for non-payment of salaries for a long time. There was a huge uproar at Ranchi HEC plant on Wednesday. The workers were protesting at the HMDP ADM building demanding salaries pending for the last 20 months. After this the management ordered the CISF soldiers to use force.

Meanwhile, there was a commotion between CISF soldiers and personnel. Many personnel have been injured in the clash with agitating workers. After the lathi-charge on the workers, they became angry and went to gherao HEC director Rajesh Divedi. In protest, the workers have gone on a one-day token strike on Thursday.
