Jamshedpur, April 24: In view of the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) Eligibility Examination 2024, the district administration has announced special traffic regulations across the city to ensure smooth conduct of the test.

As per official directives, the entry of all heavy vehicles—except buses—will remain strictly prohibited within city on Sunday from 12 PM to 6 PM.

The decision has been jointly enforced by the Deputy Commissioner, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), and the Traffic DSP.

Authorities stated that the restriction aims to prevent congestion and facilitate hassle-free movement for thousands of candidates expected to appear for the examination.

Traffic personnel will be deployed at key junctions to manage vehicular flow and ensure compliance with the order.

Commuters and transport operators have been advised to plan their routes in advance and cooperate with the administration during the specified hours.

The move is part of a broader effort to maintain order and minimize disruptions on the day of the examination.
