Heatwave in 16 Jharkhand districts till June 10

Ranchi, June 6: The Ranchi-based weather center of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert of heat wave on Thursday.

Meteorological center chief Abhishek Anand has said that heat wave will be seen in most districts of Jharkhand between Friday, June 7 and June 10. Heat wave conditions will be seen at some places in the northwestern, central, southern and adjoining northeastern parts of Jharkhand. However, there is also a possibility of thunderstorms with strong winds at some places in the southern and central parts on the same day.

According to the head of the Meteorological Center, heat wave will prevail at some places in the northwestern, central, southern and adjoining northeastern parts of the state from June 8 to 10. There are six districts in the northwestern part. Four districts in the southern part and six districts in central Jharkhand. In this way, there is a possibility of heat wave in 16 districts from 8 to 10 June.

According to the meteorologist, there is a possibility of heat wave in the capital Ranchi from June 7. Both maximum and minimum temperatures will increase. However, till June 9, there will be partial cloud cover, but the temperature will increase, due to which the heat wave situation will persist. The maximum temperature is likely to be 41 to 42 degrees and the minimum temperature is likely to be 28 degrees centigrade.

The Meteorological Department has said that the maximum temperature in the state will gradually increase by 2 to 3 degrees centigrade for the next 3 days. After this, there is no possibility of any major change in it for the next 2 days. From June 11, light rain with thunder may occur at some places in the north-eastern, central and southern parts of the state.
