Monsoon to arrive in Jharkhand after June 15

Ranchi, June 6: South West monsoon will cross all parts of Karnataka and reach Maharashtra within the next one to two days. At the same time, monsoon is expected to reach Jharkhand between June 15 and 21.

However, till then people will have to bear the brunt of the scorching heat.

This time the monsoon had reached Kerala two days before the scheduled time.

IMD forecasts that in a day or two, very favorable conditions have been created for the monsoon to cross Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and reach Chhattisgarh and Odisha. Here, there is no hope of relief from heat in Jharkhand yet. Because the monsoon has not yet reached even near the Bay of Bengal. Meteorologist Abhishek Anand said that the monsoon is likely to reach Jharkhand between 15 and 21 June.
