Head-On Collision Between Truck and Highway in Sundernagar Leaves One Dead

Jamshedpur: A fatal head-on collision occurred between a highway and a truck near Kudada under Sundernagar police station late Wednesday night. The truck driver lost his life in the accident, while his passenger sustained injuries. The highway driver also received minor injuries.

Upon receiving information about the incident, police arrived at the scene and transported the injured to the hospital. Despite being notified by bystanders, an ambulance failed to reach the location.

It is reported that the highway was traveling from Tata towards Hata when the truck approached from the opposite direction. The collision was so severe that the cabins of both vehicles were completely destroyed, trapping the truck driver inside, resulting in his death. Considerable effort was required to extricate him from the wreckage.

The cause of the accident is yet to be determined, but an investigation is underway.
