Jamshedpur, June 16:The renowned HarinaMela kicked off on Friday at the sacred Mukteshwar Dham in Potka, captivating devotees from far and wide. Celebrating Rajo Sankranti, a multitude of faithful worshippers gathered at Mukteshwar Dham since the early hours of the morning, forming long queues to offer their prayers. The temple’s priest, Bajrangi Dandpat, meticulously conducted the rituals, ensuring a spiritually enriching experience for the devotees. In addition to locals, devotees from the neighboring states of Odisha and Bengal also flocked to this ancient Shiva temple.
A significant highlight of the occasion was the presence of Potka MLA, SanjeevSardar, who humbly bowed down in reverence at Baba’s darbar, seeking blessings for the prosperity of his constituency’s people. MLA SanjeevSardar, known for his commitment to public welfare, generously distributed jaggery and gram among the devotees, further enhancing the festive spirit. The RajoSankranti celebrations at HarinaMela will span four days, offering visitors a wide array of attractions. Alongside the diverse range of shops at the fair, the Well of Death, electronic swings, and a captivating magic show have emerged as major draws, captivating the attention of one and all.
