Hari Mukhi opposes vacating quarters

Mail News Service

Jamshedpur: When a team of security forces and officials of Indian Steel and Wire Products (IS&WP) went to get quarters at Harijan Basti, the Mukhi Samaj state general secretary protested the move contending that the company had already cut off power and water supply to the colony that was highly objectionable. He said, The Basti dwellers are prepared to vacate the quarters on their own accord but they need some time. In the meantime, power and water supply should be reinstated.
Hari Mukhi stated that a delegation of the Mukhi Samaj would meet Chief Minister Raghubar Das in a couple of days and inform him of the prevailing situation in the Basti.
