Jamshedpur: Guru Purnima was celebrated in a grand manner at Sri Sainath Devsthanam, Ghorabandha, on Sunday.
A large number of devotees of Sai Baba were present on the occasion.
A slew of spiritual programmes were held on the occasion.
The celebration started at 5.30 am with Kakar Aarti and continued till 10 pm. Sai Baba was given a holy bath with fruit juices.
Guru purnima pujan and havan were also organized on the occasion.
The puja was performed under the guidance of the head priest Nand Lal Mishra.
A palaki yatra was also organized today.
In the evening, a bhajan programme was organized by the temple authorities.
The chief guest of the occasion was the district BJP president Dinesh Kumar.
He appreciated the efforts of the organizers to promote spiritualism and devotion among the citizens.
Among those present on the occasion included Shailendra Kumar Mishra, Adarsh Mishra, Durga Ghosh, Anju Shah, Preeti Srivastava, Bijay Kumar Singh, Rashmi Narayan and Nutan Kumari.
