Jamshedpur, July 27: Gurabandha BDO Seema Kumar was seriously injured in a road accident on her way to Jamshedpur on Saturday. She was admitted to Tata Main Hospital where her condition was reportedly serious, sources said.
Sources said the mishap occurred near Kokpara when the driver of Tata Sumo carrying the BDO lost control over the vehicle when a motorcycle sudden appeared before the four-wheeler. In a bid to save the motorcyclist, the driver ended up hitting the divider. The BDO sustained serious chest injury in the incident, sources said.
A resident of Ranchi, Seema Kumari resides in Gurabandha and travels between Jamshedpur and Ghatsila. She was coming to Jamshedpur for the treatment of a differently-abled child.
