Ground breaking ceremony for Puja pandal at Burmamines Carriage Colony

Jamshedpur, August 21: On Monday, the ground-breaking ceremony for erection of the Shri-Shri Sharadiya Sarvjanik Durga Puja Samiti pandal was performed by Pandit Siaram Pandey with Vedic chants at the Burmamines carriage Colony.

The committee’s puja licensee, Kamlesh Dubey and President Rupam Sahu were among the others present on the occasion of prayers during the ground breaking ceremony.License holder of the Puja committee, Kamlesh Dubey informed that this year, the cost of pandal construction would cost Rs five lakh and would be made by pandal makers from West Bengal. He also said that lighting display would also be another highlight of the Burmamines carriage Colony Durgotsav this year.

It may be mentioned that the  Shri-Shri Sharadiya Sarvjanik Durga Puja Samiti has been conducting Durga Utsav in the Burmamines Carriage Colony since 1962.

Among others present during the ground breaking ceremony wereMahendra Pandey, licensee Kamlesh Dubey, President Rupam Sahu, Ramashray Singh, Radheshyam Pandey, AJSU leader Appu Tiwari, BJP leader Ankit Anand, Mohan Rao, Vijay Choudhary, Ashish Sharma, Manoj Mukhi, Sanjay Pandey, D Ramna Rao, Gopal Sharma, Ashok Shukla, Prem Dubey, Dipu Tiwari, Sumit Sharma, Vijay Upadhyay, Ramesh Thakur, Arpan, Kanhaiya Pandey, Babu Lanka, Rahul Lanka, Chhotu Pandey and Ankit Pandey.
